Family break: Honestly a lovely welcoming hotel, located in the middle of town. Very close to wide range of restaurants, bars and pubs. The room was clean, to a high standard and meet our needs perfectly. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. A lovely breakfast too. Highly recommend.
Just been back for the second time as the team were so lovely the first. The rooms are very good value for money- clean, tidy and well decorated. The breakfast was fantastic and there is tea and coffee in the rooms. The hotel is in a good location being close to the station and easy access to main roads, although still a quiet street. There is an Asda 2 minutes walk away. The host is very knowledgeable on the local area and recommended a lovely bar on a quieter part of the beach.
Clear key retrieval & parking permit instructions via text message. Welcoming entrance hall & stairwells. Our room was clean, comfortable, attractively furnished with a good supply of tea, coffee & biscuits. Small fridge available in room. Adequate ensuite with good shower. All in all an enjoyable stay with good value for money facilities.
Well what a lovely hotel. This is my first holiday as a family as a single mum of 2 and I came across this place when booking. It's a bargain and breakfast is included if you wish to add as an option. We were greeted by the owner when we got there. He even changed our room from the top floor to the bottom floor which really helped with 2 young children. The room is lovely and clean with daily house keeping to a very high standard the owner really makes it feel like home from home. The breakfast is amazing with different options to choose from. It's situated perfectly only being a few minutes from the station and close to town centre and only a 20 minute walk to the beach. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again when I come back to Bournemouth.
Hotel is a five minute walk from the train/coach station and is centrally located to shops, restaurants. However the cherry on the cake are the owners and staff they epitomise hospitality at its finest. As 4 in a bed winner I was had high hopes but these were truly exceeded. Breakfast is really good value with the tea and toast flowing alongside the the tasty full English. Beds are a bit narrow but I slept really well and the rooms are nicely decorated. All in all 5 stars for a lovely stay.
Our room was clean & tidy with all the facilities needed to make our stay a pleasant one. The owner Chris was very friendly & was accommodating with our early check in request. Ideally situated for the train station with Bournemouth centre & Boscombe close by. Wouldn't hesitate to book again for future visits to the area.
Had a fantastic stay at The Chelsea, Chris and his team couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. Rooms are all lovely, clean with tea and coffee, mini fridge. Quiet location close to the station, although we drove and Chris kindly arranged a permit for our stay, right outside! I have no hesitation in recommending and look forward to staying again soon!
The Chelsea hotel is such a wonderful place to stay! I picked it partly because of the Leonard Cohen song, I admit, but I'm really glad I did. The staff I talked to were lovely, and you really feel at home. It's only a few minutes from the station, and a short walk from the center. I will definitely be staying here again if I ever go back to Bournemouth!
